Rick Perry’s election-year hypocrisy knows no bounds. Throughout his time in government, Rick Perry has billed taxpayers to travel the world for what have often amounted to little more than vacations. There was $12,000 billed to taxpayers for a bachelor party in Las Vegas and $32,000 in taxpayer funds spent to travel to political meetings in New York City. And in August 2009, Perry spent more than $70,000 in taxpayer money to travel to Israel. Since 2004, Texas taxpayers have been billed nearly $400,000 for Rick Perry’s travel. Rick Perry is living a life of luxury and cronyism at taxpayer expense.

I cant stand Hutchinson. Perry isnt my fav but IMO is about 6x better than her. I do find it funny that she is running such a vicious slander campaign when she has almost as many skeletons in her closet. She needs to STFU. I hope she gets trounced by Perry...

My take on it is this. Washington doesn't like Perry. They don't own Texas. They would support anyone to get Perry out. The money Perry has spent on his travels is a drop in the bucket compared to KBH and others in Washington. We can afford Perry but not the Washington mob. They would love to move in down here if the enviornment were friendly to them! Lets keep Texas unhabitable for the Washington freaks!

My future votes will be directed toward candidates that I feel best represent my values and will adhere to the Constitution, regardless of party affiliation. Those who have held a job or have run a business in the private sector get extra consideration.
