Nancy has already started looking at those. The '07 SuperCrew would have to go, but it's whatever she wants to do. Her truck only has 11,000 miles on it. _________________

Been talking with Joe Myers Ford since last week about the black Taurus SHO they have on their lot. Went and drove it twice last week, and again last night. We had the papers drafted and ready to sign last night, but I just couldn't do it.
The new Taurus SHO is a damn nice car, nothing like the older version. Hard loaded with all kinds of creature comforts, it reminds me of a Cadillac CTS, which we also drove last week. Oh, and it hauls butt too..... definitely a 13-second car.
Our note would have gone up $160 a month over what we are now paying for the SuperCrew. With my retirement and uncertain employment status looming in the near future, I didn't feel comfortable making the deal.
Instead, Nancy drove out in a new 2010 Fusion Sport this afternoon. Fully loaded with every available option, we put $1,000 down, got a 6.6% interest rate, gap insurance, 5 year/75K mile extended warranty, and knocked $61 off what we were paying for the truck. Joe Myers gave us $24,500 for the SuperCrew, which was well over blue book.
The Fusion has some really cool features:
* Full navigation system
* Remote start
* Back-up camera
* Bluetooth technology
* Voice activated command (Sync)
* 6-speed AutoStick
* Programable interior mood lighting
* Ipod and MP3 hook-ups
* Interactive cruise control
* Heated and cooled front seats
* Blind spot warning system
For a FWD V6, it scoots pretty good. Plenty of power for merging onto freeways and passing. It's no drag strip demon, but it runs plenty strong enough for Nancy. This will be her daily driver. Once I retire and turn in the AT&T S-10, I'll get the Scion xA to use as my beater. Basically, we're going down one vehicle, so there will be more room in the driveway.

Started playing with the SYNC entertainment center this evening and discovered a lot of neat features. You can pair up to 12 different bluetooth devices to the system. There is an option to upload the contact list for each phone. The system will automatically search for the phone designated as the primary unit once the key is inserted into the ignition, but can be changed to another device with the touch of a button.
MP3s stored on my iPhone can be sent to the stereo system via bluetooth... a modular line-in cord is not required. Voice recognition technology allows you to make or receive phone calls by just providing voice commands. Individual contacts in the address book can be singled out by simply announcing the name. If the contact has more than one number, you can specify which one you want to call.
The media center also allows you to upload photos into the system via a built-in USB port. The USB port can also be used to charge an iPod or other electronic device. Once the photos have been uploaded, they can be viewed on the navigation screen.
The 6-disc head unit plays both CDs and DVDs. _________________

I thought one of the big deals about the ecoboost motor was that it was supposed to have big power along with high fuel economy???
I don't call 17 city/25 highway, HIGH FUEL ECONOMY!!! _________________ My YouTube Channel:

All the ricers/youngsters have been pronouncing it SHOW for quite a while, guess ford picked up on it trying to be hip.
S-H-O used to stand for Super High Output, guess that isn't cool any more. _________________ My YouTube Channel:
