What is the transmission part number for the deep pan “filter”??

How many quarts will I need to refill the pan, I won’t drain the convertor??

Type of fluid to use (the cheap kind) this baby has over 120K and I don’t want to start to spoil her, she had the 99 cent quart oil, ever since she was a baby, and she done fine…. So cheap Tran’s fluid spec, Please

Go to AutoZone and get a Deutch TF-325 filter (~$26.00). You'll need eight quarts of Mercon to re-fill the tranny with a Ford
4 x 4 deep pan.

No offense, Curtis.
Not everyone carries Deutch filters.
I know AutoZone does.

What's so special about those filters?

Don't know.
I've gone to O'Reilly's and PepBoys before and neither one had them. The TF-325 has a longer pick-up tube designed for the deeper pans.

We have the 4x4 filter with the longer pickup, no problem there. We also have the good pan gasket with the metal core if needed.

Art, my store is clear up on the opposite side of Houston from you but there is a NAPA in Pearland, 5619 W Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581, (281) 997-6200

Here's the filter kit, use just the filter out of it and trash the gasket that comes with it. Re-use the original ford pan gasket, they are the best and can be used over and over again.

$24.49

I’m familiar with that store; they are about two blocks from me!!!

I use them quite frequently; because they are the closest to me, stuff like bulbs, fuses and such!!!
